Eric Gilboord Founder and CEO, Director Marketing Education

Eric is a specialist in making marketing easy for business owner/operators and any staff with sales or marketing responsibility. He demystifies marketing so they can use it to generate sales today and grow their businesses faster.

He worked as a marketing executive for 15 years in Canadian and International advertising agencies as well as specialty shops, with experience in all aspects of marketing. He held senior account management positions overseeing the advertising for many diverse clients including A&P, Dominion Stores, CBS Records, Ontario Lottery Corporation, Ontario Milk Marketing Board, Yamaha Dealers, WD40, Budget Rent A Car, Lechmere, Sunbeam, Oster, Ford, Converse, Swiss Chalet and many more.

During this phase in his career he grew a direct marketing agency from 4 people and $200,000 in annual sales to 27 staff and $2,000,000 in annual sales. All in an 18 month period. Some say he was the linchpin to their success.

For the past 17 years he has worked as a marketing coach and supplier, providing strategy, creative development and full marketing program implementation to over 300 Small & Medium-sized Businesses. His work history and business philosophy includes utilizing a blend of traditional and new media for clients of all sizes. Eric has worked with a diverse group of organizations.

He is well known in the SMB community as a popular speaker, columnist and author of many articles and books on moving a Small or Medium-sized Business up to the next level. Eric is the author of "Just Tell Me What to Do - Easy Marketing Tips" - a best selling book on marketing your business and a co-author of "Marketing Masters" - a collection of insights from leading marketing experts.

Tibor Shanto VP Sales, Director Sales Education

Tibor is a 20-year veteran of B2B sales in information, content management, and financial sectors.
He has developed an insider’s perspective on how information can be used to:

  • Increase close ratios.
  • Create double digit growth.
Called a brilliant sales tactician, Tibor shows organizations how to execute their strategy by using the right information to create a perfect combination of tactics and timing.

Dave Jones VP Operations, Director Coaching

Dave brings a wealth of executive and consulting experience across a wide range of industries. He has consulted to major corporations across North America, both in directing large projects for clients of McKinsey & Company, and as an independent consultant to small and medium-sized companies.

In addition to corporate strategy projects, he provides advice on operations,  organization, human resources, labour relations, and information technology.


As a senior executive for Weston a major food manufacturing and retailing corporation, he held important positions in corporate planning & development, human resources and general management, including Chair and CEO of a major food manufacturing division with many plants across Canada and 5000 employees. He has also been a serial entrepreneur, founding and directing companies in the educational software and high-tech printing industries.
 
Dave has extensive experience operating executive groups for CEOs, providing one-on-one counsel and dynamic peer interactions for executives interested in personal growth and rapid expansion of their companies.

Kirk Barton VP Finance

Kirk has a financial background and loves numbers, go figure. He has tons of experience managing loads of projects simultaneously and keeping a tight rein on costs and profits for each and every job.

This unique expertise came from owning and running a successful mailing service for the past 18 years as well as a print brokering company. Both businesses continue to run today and likely will for a long time.
As soon as Kirk pulls his head out of the spreadsheets we'll have a picture and some more interesting background tidbits.
